The Beginning of Purrixo
The idea for Purrixo was born on a rainy afternoon, when our founder Elsa was watching her own cat, Luna. Luna was lazing on the couch, visibly bored, while Elsa was busy with work. All her toys were untouched in the corner of the room. Like any cat lover, Elsa felt guilty that she didn't have more time to play with Luna.
She tried all sorts of toys – balls, fishing rods, stuffed animals – but Luna quickly got bored with them. Then Elsa had the idea to develop a toy that was interactive, self-activated, and perfectly suited to cats’ hunting instincts. And so Purrixo was born.
